Fife High School Basketball Presents

Saturday Morning Basketball Skills Clinic

WHO:         BOYS AND GIRLS AGES 5-13
WHEN:       SATURDAYS 10:00am – 11:00am
COST:        $5.00 PER SESSION
DATES:      JANUARY 30 (Last session)
WHERE:    FIFE HIGH SCHOOL

PURPOSE: To provide an opportunity to improve basketball skills. Each week will focus on dribbling, shooting, footwork, passing and more. Players of all abilities are welcome. Those players with more advanced abilities will be placed together to work on more advanced techniques and skills.

Our kids depend on the quality education, facilities and opportunities that are funded from these levies. Our basketball program depends on the free use of the facilities from the Fife School District. The local FME soccer club, FME baseball & EAA baseball leagues also depend on the use of the facilities from both districts.

School Levy Sign

The City of Fife presents the HOT SPOT BASKETBALL COMPETITION

This is a FREE basketball skill competition which involves shooting from five “Hot Spots” marked on one half of the basketball court. This competition test your skill in a series of two (2) one minute periods. The kid with the highest accumulative score will be declared the winner and move on to the state competition

Time: 9:30AM - 11:30AM

THE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FREE THROW CHAMPIONSHIP

February 6th, 2010 – Columbia Junior High School

Location - 2901 54^th Avenue East Fife, 98424

All boys and girls ages 10 to 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2010 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The local competition will be held February 6^th at Columbia Junior High School from 9:30 A.M. to 11:30.A.M.

The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and state competitions. International champions are announced by the K of C international headquarters based on scores from the state level competitions. All boys and girls 10 to 14 years old are eligible to participate and will compete in their respective age divisions. This year our event will be held along with the Fife Parks Hot Shot competition. The Hot shot competition is open to ages 7 thru 14. So come and compete in both events!

All contestants on the local level are recognized for their participation in the event. Participants are required to furnish proof of age and written parental consent.
